The Congregational Leadership Team brings together the Congregational Leader and the Congregational Councillors to work in a spirit of communion and collaboration. The team seeks to ensure unity and support within the Congregation. Its members make sure that we, Sisters of Providence, remain faithful to our heritage as we respond to the emerging needs of our world.

The Congregational Leadership Team also implements the Orientations adopted by the Congregational Chapter, a gathering where we discuss orientations to guide our coming years. Also at the General Chapter, the Congregational Leader and the Congregational Councillors are elected for a five-year term.

The Congregational Leader of the Sisters of Providence is also Congregational Leader of the Sisters of Our Lady of Seven Dolors, a congregation which is closely united with the Sisters of Providence. The Congregational Leadership Team of the Sisters of Providence is also engaged in this relationship.
