Journey to Oneness at the Providence International Center (PIC)

On May 30, the staff of the Providence International Center gathered in a friendly meeting to listen to the members of the Congregational Leadership Team of the Sisters of Providence, and be informed about the progress attained towards the new governance model for the Congregation.

Listening to our congregational leader, Sister Alba Letelier’s was very enlightening. Through her sharing based on the story of the “bamboo and the ferns” we could understand that our Journey to Oneness is made of small, solid, and deep-rooted changes, even if they have not always been self-evident. Then, Sister Rollande Malo and Sister Suzette explained in a concise and instructive way some of the objectives set by the Finance and Communication Services during this transformation.

Although Sister Hélène Mamert and Josie Lerios could not be with us due to urgent matters, Sister Alba also presented the progress of the Services of Continuing Formation and Mission on this journey towards congregational oneness.

We feel grateful for the opportunity to share this moment together, and to receive this message that helps us moving forward in unity as Providence Family.
