Sister Marcia Gatica, SP, receives her BA degree in Social Psychology last October, in San Salvador, from a school within the UCA (University of Central America). Sister Marcia shared with us her joy: “With sincere gratitude I thank all of you for your email greetings, letters, gifts and especially for your prayers. In addition, I am also happy for the presence of Sisters Marisol Avila, Marita Capili and Vilma Franco in celebrating my graduation. I also had an early celebration with the General Counselors in Montreal who invited me and Sister Judith Desmarais for a wonderful dinner during the Transforming Governance Committee meeting.” Congratulations dear Sister Marcia!
This collage put together by Sister Gladys Flores was made to recall the date of the exhumation of the mortal remains of Mother Emilie Gamelin and its transfer from the Asile of Providence crypt to the present-day Motherhouse. This work was carried out in the context of the celebration Month of Mother Emilie and is exposed at Salaberry Residence, in Montreal.
