March 8-14, 2024 – Catholic Women Religious Week

As we announced last week, and with the intention of highlighting our participation in Catholic Sisters Week, we have invited Sister Serena Chappell to share her experience as a Sister of Providence of temporary vows. In her interview, Sister Serena recalls her childhood and tells us about her early call to religious life. She also reflects on the challenges she faces daily as a woman dedicated to spread our Mission in our current society, which is so deprived of kindness. Finally, she shares advice and words of encouragement for those who, like herself, have heard the call of Christ, and from the depths of their hearts wish to follow the path of compassion and charity traced by our foundresses.
